The Staff of Power

There once was a land of great power where warriors roamed and sorcerers cast. It was called Iksol and there was King Ansor who was a very loyal mage and ruler for all his years. He made the castle Taro and it was the largest of all. Many people lived there and were treated kindly with no poverty whatsoever. There were oracles, wizards, illusionists, druids, and others with magiks. It was an amazing place with high rise towers and large monuments. These were to honor the heroes of the past, and they had no gods with which they would worship.
Their army was one of talent with enchanted armour and weapons that could destroy almost anything. Conjurers also made creatures like orcs, daemons, phantoms, reapers, and ghosts to fight in some battles. They also had strategies that would come to them one after another during battle thanks to seers. The inventors came up with a flying machine so we can bombard enemies from above, and boats are even too easy so we have submarines to hide at unreachable depths. Mines are also no problem on land or water. We also mine many precious minerals like coal and substances like iron some with magical properties like novastar. They also harvested lumber and crops as well as drilled and refined oil.
One day an angry peasant stumbled into a cave with so small of an opening he barely made it. Down there in a crevice was something glimmering in the darkness. Then it became more of a glow and he found it was a golden eagles head on a staff with diamond eyes. Beside it was a scroll that said thee who holds thine staff ist true strength in it's greatest form behold thy staff of power. He was very shocked as the scroll burst into colourful flames as he left in a hurry. A strange man, who was a warlock, blocked his path then took the staff and vanished. The warlock went back to his domain preparing for the great battle that awaits. One of the messengers from the land of Xecit warned all of Iksol about this threat.
Cempuc, the warlock, didn't waste any time for he and his golems were all ready for the invasion. We got our army together and sent out after the scourge. This will be the battle of the century, and at that time the smithy by the name of Kelaar was in the cave and found a ring on the finger in the hand of a bare skeleton. It had tiny shredding of raw flesh and a fowl smelling odor and inside his ribcage was another scroll covered in cobwebs it read thee who bear thine ring canst stoppeth thine staff. Kelaar then ran to the king and told him of the scroll's saying. Ansor put on the ring and said, "Thine shalt putteth an end to thy suffering." With those words he left as fast as lightning and confronted Cempuc. He was mad and couldn't believe Ansor made it there. He fired and blasted with all his might but he kept coming. Ansor then hit him bad with an incantation and a spell. Cempuc fell to the ground, and upon impact crumbled to dust, as he had no more life force to hold his molecules together as his soul left his body. Kelaar's scroll he had found turned into a spell that Ansor knew because of the knowledge the ring gave him. It was to destroy the staff so no one else could use its power. He then casted the spell and it worked marvelously, and everything was put to right so they all lived on to see many a peaceful millennium.
